I’ve noticed it’s suddenly got a lot noisier. Living between two farms, we’re surrounded by fields – one of which has recently burst into life with lambs and ewes, another bustling with ducks and chickens. Spring has arrived!

It’s not just the animals that seem to have a renewed energy. Farmers, producers, chefs – it’s as though everyone steps out of the quieter winter months into the bouncier, livelier days of spring. With that in mind, we’ve unearthed some fun foodie events to try, from foraging and tours to tastings and courses.

We all love a good café, and many of us have our favourites that we visit time and again. So, to help you broaden your experience, we’ve found some really great ones. Whether for breakfast, brunch, lunch or a quick pit stop, our selection serves great coffee, treats and meals.
